Refund Policy

Freight charges

Freight is a charge for a service. Once your package has been shipped to Jamaica, the freight charge is not refundable.

We refund freight in full where:

• You were charged twice for the same package
• You were charged the wrong amount because of our error
• We lost the package while it was in our care

Customs duty and taxes

Duty and taxes are collected for the Jamaica Customs Agency. We cannot refund them once they have been paid over. If you believe the amount is wrong, tell us before you pay and we will check it.

Local courier bookings

If you cancel a courier booking before the driver has set out, anything you paid online is refunded in full. Once the driver has set out, or if no one is available at the pickup address, the booking fee is not refundable.

Credit card purchase

If you cancel before we have placed the order, or we are unable to buy the item, the cash you paid is returned in full. Once the order has been placed with the seller, a refund depends on the seller's own return policy, and we pass on whatever the seller refunds.

China sourcing

If we cannot source your item, any amount you paid for it is refunded in full. Once you approve a quote and the order has been placed with the supplier, the payment cannot be refunded, because the supplier has been paid on your behalf.

Shop items

Items in our shop are uncollected packages sold as seen. Please inspect the item when you collect it. Once collected, the sale is final unless the item is not as it was described.

How to ask for a refund

To ask for a refund, call 8762054618 or email shippyxpress@gmail.com and give your account number and the tracking or booking number. We will reply after reviewing the request.

Approved refunds are returned to the card or method you paid with. How long the money takes to reach you depends on your bank.

All prices and payments are in Jamaican dollars (JMD). Card payments are processed by Fygaro over an encrypted connection and checked with 3-D Secure. Shippy Xpress never stores your full card number.
